Examples of Shortcut Trajectories
Three examples of shortcut sequences reconstructed from hippocampal recordings. The black diamond shows the location of the rat at the time of the replay event. The colored dots indicate a sequence of locations decoded from the hippocampal activity pattern. Color indicates time, going from blue (early) to purple (late). These trajectories show the rat leaving the feeding station and taking a shortcut to the other side of the maze.
