Por Amor a las Tortugas (For the Love of Turtles)
Description
This video is the result of an IGERT-sponsored film documentary workshop at the University of Puerto Rico in the Summer of 2011.
The video high-lights the efforts of ATMAR (Friends of Sea Turtles, for its acronym in Spanish), a community-based group located in Maunabo, Puerto Rico, dedicated to: (1) stop turtle-egg and nest robberies, (2) offering of education to the community regarding these endangered species, and (3) document the activities of the Puerto Rico National Turtle Protection Proyect.
