IGERT trainee receives Graduate Research Fellowship
Trainee Heather E. Wright-Wendel received a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship. The title of her proposal was "Environmental Sustainability and Urban Rehabilitation in Developing Communities," which focused on community-based research and sustainable rehabilitation of urban wetlands. The multi-disciplinary focus and international experience of the IGERT program played a critical role in allowing Heather to submit a competitive proposal.
