Achievement

We created an interdisciplinary research team to work collaboratively on understanding structure property relationships in fuel cell membranes. This team, with faculty from three departments (Chemistry, Materials Science, and Chemical Engineering), allows a full suite of investigations to be performed including synthesis of new membrane materials, experimental characterization of new materials and modeling of materials. This accomplishment creates a fuel cell research team from people who previously did not work together.
