Achievement

We created an interdisciplinary research team to work collaboratively on the discovery of novel hydrogen storage materials. This team, with faculty from four departments (Chemistry, Materials Science, Environmental Engineering and Chemical Engineering), allows a full suite of investigations to be performed including synthesis of new materials, experimental characterization of new materials and modeling of materials. This accomplishment creates a hydrogen storage research team from people who previously did not work together.
