Achievement

This year initiated our research lab rotations for new Trainees. Trainees arrived mid-summer to join a research group for a short, focused research project. Depending on progress, Trainees then rotated through one or two more labs. Such rotations build awareness of the larger interdisciplinary issues in robotics, help students choose mentors, and can lead to early publications for the Trainee. Several papers are now in progress based on lab rotation work.
