Laura Beasman has been selected to receive a 2009 National Science Foundation (NSF) Graduate Research Fellowship (GRF) award. Her proposal for this award prominently featured work that she has done while supported as an IGERT fellow. This award is based on her abilities and accomplishments as well as her potential to contribute to strengthening the vitality of the U.S. science and engineering enterprise.
