Science Posse allows minority students to excel
Several of the trainees and IGERT faculty are involved in the Science Posse at Brandeis. The Posse brought 10 disadvantaged or minority students as a group to Brandeis and creates a set of mentored activities and support to allow minority students to excel in science. IGERT trainees have been mentors for the Posse students and the program is run by Irv Epstein, one of the IGERT P.I.s
