Tools and Omnibus Repository for Proteomic Experimental Datasets Online

Rachel Adams, Dylan Story, Rick Weber and a host of collaborators with the Organic and Biological Mass Spectrometry Group at ORNL built the Tools and Omnibus Repository for Proteomic Experimental Datasets Online (TORPEDO) software package to facilitate high-throughput proteomic data sequencing and analysis. TORPEDO is an all purpose tool and workflow plan to streamline and improve the process of using mass spectrometry to study proteomics. The work has become the center piece of Rachel's dissertation and she is expect to graduate this year. TORPEDO will be hosted by a SCALE-IT sponsored and dedicated cluster and will become the system by which proteomics research is conducted at UT and ORNL.
