Achievement

Some of the second cohort spent the summer interning in the United States. Stephen Head at an optics company assisting experienced optical engineers with precision measurements, learning system set-up and maintenance and observing how lab applications are used in industry. Amanda Preske and Chanse Hungerford worked at the National Renewable Energy Lab and were able to assist with research experiments there. They also attended the I-CAMP 2012 Summer School on Renewable and Sustainable Energy hosted by the University of Colorado Boulder. Tyler DuBeshter worked with fuel cell technology at General Motors, Ryan Severins ran experiments at a private university lab.
