Trainees gain experience in preparing high throughput DNA sequencing libraries
A general research and educational achievement in each cohort of trainees is the experience gained in preparing high throughput DNA sequencing libraries and combining this with advanced computational and statistical analysis. The exercise of jointly designing, executing and analyzing a genome-scale sequencing project addressing an important biological question has been a valuable training outcome for all students.
