Multidisciplinary research project published online

A group of our student had their report from last summer’s multidisciplinary group research project published online, as a Working Paper, on the CGIAR Research Program on Climate Change, Agriculture and Food Security's website. The report, entitled 'Climate Change Adaptation Strategies of Boran Pastoralists in Southern Ethiopia', presents an integrative inventory and critical evaluation of recent, current and potential strategies that might help pastoralist households and communities manage drought risk associated with climate variability. The IGERT team who undertook the research included doctoral students with expertise in Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science, Human Nutrition, Applied Economics, and Civil and Environmental Engineering, with an emphasis on water quality and management.
