Our trainees took the course "Science Communication for Multiple Audiences and Purposes" They now understand the importance of tailoring a presentation of their research to the audience they will speak to. Traditionally, scientists have geared their talks to other scientists, but when dealing with politicians, educators, children, the general public or even scientists from other cultures, it is vital to know how to customize the presentation to reach and have the most impact on your audience.
