Achievement

The cross-disciplinary nature of the work described in the top three research achievements [chemistry, physics, and engineering] has also been picked up across the community. Specifically, the trainees working on these projects (even with these first few months) have just been awarded prestigious external fellowships, particularly for the reported work. For example, a trainee was awarded the exceptional NRI Hans J. Coufal Fellowship which supports her tuition/stipend for the next 5 years. For example, other trainees were award the NASA Fellowships, the NSF Fellowships, etc. These trainees continue to be associated with our IGERT as PhD associates, contributing to our program.
