Trainee forges collaboration with U of Missouri

Trainee Ben Lowry has developed a significant collaboration with the University of Missouri, partnering with researchers who have access to an advanced radar system for tracking landslides and geotechnical settlement. Lowry has developed a number of projects to investigate using the radar system and has helped assemble a team of engineers, remote sensing, and geophysicists to futher the research. This team includes Trainee Rittgers, IGERT faculty, municipal agencies, private companies, and graduate students being recruited to the IGERT. This research and partnership has led to a internship with UNAVCO, an NSF facility in Boulder, CO and is providing a significant source of cross application of researchers, projects and in progress publications.
