Achievement

This year represents the largest group of IGERT trainees and faculty. This critical mass of dynamic researchers resulted in a dramatic increase in the number of articles published in high impact journals. In this past year, the associated faculty and trainees published in excess of 100 papers in journals such as Nature Materials, Nature Chemistry, Nano Letters, and Advanced Materials to name a few. Virtually all of these publications were highly interdisciplinary in nature including joint authors from different departments at both Rutgers and Princeton as well as IGERT trainees with interdisciplinary co-supervisors within the IGERT program.
