Achievement

Based on a request from trainees in previous years for more interaction with IGERT faculty outside their research areas, we created a new monthly event where IGERT faculty discuss with trainees how they see their field changing over the next 10 years. Both the faculty and the topic were chosen by the trainees themselves. This new activity has been very successful and we expect to continue it next year with a different topic.
