Achievement

em[POWER] Energy Group (http://www.empowerenergygroup.org/), co-founded by IGERT trainees Tiffany Tong and Ryan Integlia, has been invited to participate in the Clinton Global Initiative University to be held in San Diego in May 2011. em[POWER] was granted non-profit status this year and has also established student chapters at both Rutgers and Princeton. The establishment and continued success of em[POWER] was enhanced by the IGERT participation of Tiffany, a graduate student at Princeton, and Ryan, a graduate student at Rutgers. em[POWER] Energy Group continues to win awards and the notice of the international energy and social welfare communities.
