Catalysts in ethanol fuel cells
IGERT Trainee Pearl Dickerson traveled to Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory to carryout experiments at beamline 9.3.2 of the Advanced Light Source to support her research into the effects of ethanol exposure to Si-supported metallic nanoparticles by HP-XPS. These nanoparticles are used as catalysts in direct ethanol fuel cells.
