Achievement

Although the seeds of collaboration between Rutgers and Princeton are being planted, this remains an issue that we continue to strive to improve. Towards this end, an ARPA-E workshop at the newly established Andlinger Center for Energy and the Environment at Princeton was held on 10/25/2011 in which members of the IGERT program from Rutgers actively participated. This was followed by several trainees from Rutgers and Princeton attending ARPA-E Energy Innovation Summit in Washington, DC in March 2011.

In addition to the above, the IGERT program provided crucial support for several trainees' use of analytical equipment, the results of which will likely result in key research achievements that will be reported in next year's Annual Survey.
