Achievement

Had participants participate in the second Resilience Science conference (Phoenix, AZ). All were able to particapte, and hear - and discuss - three days of presentations by diverse scientists (students and nobel prize winners) on a wide range of subjects. Having all IGERT students participate helped with group cohesion, and increased exposure of trainees to other trainees viewpoints. The meeting additionally provided a focus for interdisciplinary discussions of problems (presentations) of mutual interest.
