Achievement

We revised the Interdisciplinary Graduate Certificate in Sustainability Science to include other sustainability courses in order to broaden participation in the certificate. Half of the required 12 hours of study for an Interdisciplinary Graduate Certificate in Sustainability Science can now be taken from other approved sustainability courses outside of the STAIR curriculum. The University, beginning in fall 2011, will offer an Energy Science and Engineering Concentration. Some of the courses within this curriculum will have interest to those seeking a certificate, and thus, our desire to broaden the scope of sustainable energy studies.
