Adaptive User Interfaces to Support Web Based Information Seeking for the Blind.

A keyword aid for information search by the blind was developed. The aid was implemented and evaluated. The results showed that the keyword aid improved the efficiency of information searching for users who are blind by drastically improving their success rate and significantly reducing the number of commands used, the time, and the workload.

This resulted in a dissertation: Brunsman-Johnson, C. (2011). Adaptive User Interfaces to Support Web Based Information Seeking for the Blind. Unpublished dissertation at Wright State University, Dayton, OH.
