EN potential for monoclonal antibodies

Epitopes in HIV’s surface envelope glycoprotein (gp120) are differentially masked by glycans or other protein regions. COB student Alpna Agarwal and lab leader Timothy Cardozo have estimated the effective neutralization potential (EN) for certain monoclonal antibodies was presented in a poster session and published during this past year. This project is interdisciplinary, requiring the integration of virologic neutralization data, structural biology epitope mapping, and bioinformatics masking score calculations.
