Achievement

Several of UPitt's IGERT students successfully completed their doctoral degrees and are current employed in several different sectors. For example, Dr. Tony Kerzmann is an Assistant Professor at Robert Morris University (RMU), located in Pittsburgh, PA. Dr. Kerzmann is propagating his sustainable engineering background at RMU as evidenced by his design team's first place award in the Energy and Efficient Building Technologies Challenge, an annual contest to create a technique for greening residential or commercial buildings that carry a low-price tag and a quick payoff.
