Achievement

Several of the UPitt IGERT students are developing and teaching modules in sustainable engineering courses. For example, Kristen Osterwood developed and taught a module in the course, CEE1210: Engineering and Sustainable Development at the University of Pittsburgh. The module developed was designed to help students understand how their class material related to their everyday lives. This module was successful with its learning objectives as determined by a survey at the conclusion of the class.
