Achievement

Trainee Jeffrey Boyd is a 3rd year PhD student in Computer Science with a concentration in Arts, Media, and Engineering. He works in the Mixed Reality Rehabilitation group, researching software for low-power devices for monitoring stroke patients at home. His focus is on novel ways for software to better manage the energy in energy-constrained devices. In 2009-10, his work was published in the International Conference on Multimedia and Expo (ICME) 2009 and Design, Automation, and Test in Europe (DATE) 2010. He was also awarded a University Graduate Fellowship for summer 2010 from the ASU Graduate College and the School of Computing, Informatics, and Decision Systems Engineering.
