Achievement

After the previous three years of developing and testing our IGERT core curriculum's lecture, laboratory and field courses we were able consolidate the curriculum into two permanent, interdisciplinary courses. Trainees and other students who took the courses this past year were able to benefit from the three previous years of curriculum development. More advanced Trainees and former Trainees assisted with the main lecture course, presenting their research as case examples in the course. The consolidation of the curriculum material has set the stage for permanently integrating the courses within a new, complementary degree program, as core and elective courses.
