Achievement

We taught a new course, Sustainable Technology Case Studies. Each student presented a specific case study problem, and all students were asked to think through alternative solutions to the presented problem. While the students used developed case studies as the basis for their presentation, they have been eager to go beyond their text to seek out additional facts and solutions. They have learned to weigh the benefits of a proposed solution against economic, social and environmental impacts. By presenting to each other and the instructors, they are refining their presentation and media skills. This course was well received.
