Achievement

The seminar series featured research scientists from universities, industry, governmental agencies and national laboratories, and we offered a dedicated meeting time for the IGERT Trainees and Associates to meet with each speaker. We believe that this time provides the Trainees and Associates opportunities to discuss their areas of specific scientific interest and broaden their knowledge of other disciplines involved in sustainable research. Trainees also get to learn about real world applications of research. These interactive meetings between student and researcher are also providing opportunities for internships.
