Training for successful international collaborations

Training and Experience in International Collaboration A goal of the MEID program is to provide trainees with training and experience that promotes their future ability to initiate and implement successful international collaborations in scientific research. To that end, there has been involvement of MEID Trainees in international conference and meetings, including Trainee Ania Majewska presenting a paper Nestling immunity and life history traits in tropical and temperate birds at the 7th Conference of the European Ornithologists' Union. Zurich, Switzerland in August of 2009 and Trainee Julie Betsch contributing to a symposium at the Workshop on Wildlife Research Techniques in Rugged Mountainous Environments in Asia at the Ugyen Wangchuck Institute of Conservation and the Environment (UWICE); Bumthang, Bhutan.
