Achievement

4 IGERT trainees from Rutgers University and NJIT (Metzger, Vasilenko, Scicolone, Caramellino) participated in the International Student Poster Competition, ISPE Annual Conference, in CA, Nov. 2009 and won awards. They were selected because they were winners at the NJ chapter event. Matt Metzger, Rutgers, won the overall international award against participants from Puerto Rico, Turkey, Canada and USA with poster "Optimization of Particle Breakage Operations with the Attainable Region (AR) Theory." IGERT travel funding made it possible for Matt to gol to South Africa to complete the technology transfer back to Rutgers. His work was published in 2009.
