Selection of diverse group of trainees
The selection of a diverse group of trainees right at the start of the IGERT program has been a major achievement for our program. Strong recruitment effort along with a rigorous interview process were the key in ensuring that our IGERT program was launched immediately upon receiving official notification from the NSF.
