Meeting of the Secretariat of the Pacific Community (SPC) Heads of Fisheries
Preparing for a morning session at the 7th Secretariat of the Pacific Community (SPC) Heads of Fisheries Meeting. Fisheries ministers and staff from 22 Pacific Island Countries and Territories (PICTs) and observers attended the meeting in Nouma, New Caledonia. IGERT trainees Emily Mohl and Michael Nelson presented a poster and gave a talk highlighting the risk assessment process in general and presented Cohort 3s conceptual model of the potential ecological and economic impacts of introducing GIFT for aquaculture in the Solomon Islands.
